My Story: A Calling That Found Me

For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a deep, unshakable calling — something ancient, something beyond words.
Even as a child, I noticed subtle things others overlooked.
I would quietly wish not to be called on in class — and the teachers never did. It felt as though the universe was already listening.

Every morning, I walked seven miles to school — not out of necessity, but to save the bus fare so I could buy Christmas gifts for my siblings. The sacrifice — the cold, the aching legs — felt sacred, because love was the purpose. Even then, I sensed a vast, unseen force guiding me.

When I turned eighteen, my grandmother gave me a deck of fortune-telling cards — a simple gift that changed everything.
Soon after, I began to see visions: real, vivid, and overwhelming. I foresaw several family deaths before they happened. Terrified, I locked the cards away, trying to return to ordinary life. But spirit does not forget us, even when we try to forget it.

Years later, while praying alone in a church — not for myself, but for the children of the world — a warm, ancient presence filled the space beside me. I turned, expecting to see someone, but there was no one there.
And yet, I knew: something holy had moved through me.
